My name is Kevin Hunt and I am a registered Maine Guide who has hunted and fished in Maine for 30yrs. I hold licenses to guide hunting, fishing and recreational adventures in the great state of Maine. My love and passion for the outdoors has been the driving force behind Highland Outfitters and Guide Service. I live in Bridgton Maine with my wife,2 kids, a veteran bird hunting German Shorthair Pointer and a new up and coming 1yr old English Pointer from Grey’s Kennel (info@greysoutfitting.com) who will be lights out this fall. We all love the outdoors and spend as much time hunting and fishing as we can. My son harvested his first turkey at age 7 in New Hampshire and is counting the days when he can hunt Maine (legal age in Maine is 10). Fishing has also been a passion for our family with both kids being accomplished fishermen/women since they were able to hold a rod.
After hunting and fishing for 30 yrs, I have grown to understand what makes for a great hunting and fishing experience. It’s not always the number of points or weight of the harvest, but everything leading up to and after that makes for the whole experience. Our goal is to give you that experience in a high quality and safe environment from our first meeting, to the “goodbye” until hopefully your return to Highland Outfitters and Guide Service the following year. We are a small outfitter so you are guaranteed our full attention and efforts. We can be as hands on or hands off as you want us to be, with your safety being our first priority.
